Native XML Optimization is applied automatically (no user action required) to all XML files at the time they are attached to the IBM Notes emails (using the paperclip button dialog, drag and drop or copy and paste).

  • Configure Image File Optimization to only ask user confirmation before to optimize imaged files for which the resulting optimized files could be of a type different of the type of the original files. Zip Compression and Decompression

Zip Compression can be applied automatically (no user action required) to the non-natively optimizable files at the time they are attached to the IBM Notes emails (using the paperclip button dialog, drag and drop or copy and paste).

  • Enable the Zip compression of folders dragged and dropped into IBM Notes emails.
  • Configurable Image Optimization progress bar.
  • Activation / deactivation of the Zip compression feature based on file types including the support of wildcards.
  • Prevent the smallest files (under a give size) from being compressed.
  • Prevent unproductive compression (test the compression results in Kbytes) .

The ZipMail PDF conversion feature requires Microsoft Office to be installed on the user computer.

  • The folder where the log files are produced is configurable.
  • The number of days to keep in each log file is configurable.
  • The number of log files to keep is configurable. The oldest files exceeding this maximum number of log files to keep are automatically deleted in time.
