ZipMail for Microsoft Outlook Features

Native XML Optimization is applied automatically (no user action required) to all XML files at the time they are attached to the Microsoft Outlook emails (using the paperclip button dialog, drag and drop or copy and paste).

• Activating the XML File Optimization on a per XML file type basis / for all file types.
• Configure the XML File Optimization to ask user confirmation before to optimize the files selected to be attached.

Native Image File Optimization is applied automatically (no user action required) to all image files at the time they are attached to the Microsoft Outlook emails (using the paperclip button dialog, drag and drop or copy and paste).

• Activating the Image File Optimization on a per file type basis / for all file types.
• Configure Image File Optimization to ask user confirmation before to optimize the image files selected to be attached.
• Configure Image optimization to be fully automatic and transparent (all image files being attached are automatically optimized).
• Configure Image File Optimization to only ask user confirmation before to optimize imaged files for which the resulting optimized files could be of a type different of the type of the original files. For instance with BMP files that can be converted to JPG by the Image File Optimization process.
• Activating and configuring the Image File Optimization differently for files attached by using the paperclip button, via drag and drop, via copy and paste and via the Insert Picture and insert Screenshots menus.
• Configurable policy to automatically resize smaller the dimensions (height and width) of images for image files exceeding a given size in MB in order to make them compliant with the specified limit in MB.
• Configurable policy to automatically resize smaller the dimensions (height and width in pixels) of images exceeding specified maximum image dimensions to make them comply with the specified maximum dimensions, for instance HD (1920 x 1080).
• Optional dialog to ask user confirmation when the above policy are triggered

• Configurable Image Optimization progress bar.

• The ZipMail cumulated statistics (as well as other user and performance indicators) can be consolidated remotely (automatically) on a computer running the MK Net.Work Statistics Consolidation Service (SCCS).
• The ZipMail cumulated statistics (as well as other user and performance indicators) can be automatically consolidated and hosted on the MK Net.Work Statistics Consolidation Cloud Service (SCCS).
• The Local Cumulated ZipMail Statistics can be displayed, managed and exported to CSV files using the ZipMail for Microsoft Outlook Statistics (local) App.

• All ZipMail optimization, compression, PDF conversion and encryption features can be made active when users do a Right-Click Send to Recipients on Windows Explorer files.

• Each ZipMail option can also be configured specifically for The Windows Explorer context and thus behave differently in The Explorer and in Microsoft Outlook. For instance the image optimization feature can be configured to be fully transparent and automatic in Microsoft Outlook while providing more user interaction options when called from the Windows Explorer.

• All ZipMail optimization, compression, PDF conversion and encryption features can be made active when users do a Send to Recipients or a Shared by email of the document currently being edited in their Microsoft Office application like Word, Excel or PowerPoint.
• By default, all ZipMail settings also apply when the ZipMail features are called from the Microsoft Office applications.
• Each ZipMail option can also be configured specifically for The Microsoft Office application context and thus behave differently in MS Office applications and in Microsoft Outlook.

• ZipMail supports all Microsoft Office versions from MS Office 2007 to MS Office 2016, 32-bit and 64-bit versions.
• ZipMail is fully compatible with all versions of Microsoft Office 365.
• ZipMail is fully compatible with multi-user Windows contexts and with Citrix and Terminal Server environments
• ZipMail registry parameters are fully compatible with Windows Group Policies. We even provide the ADMX file containing the exhaustive list of ZipMail parameters including a short description for each parameter.
• ZipMail is delivered in fully standard MSI packages pre-configured to support fully automatic and silent deployments.
• The size of the ZipMail MSI package is under 4 MB.
• ZipMail has a very small memory and CPU footprint. There is no specific memory or CPU prerequisite for ZipMail. If a Windows computer can run Microsoft Outlook, it can run ZipMail.
• ZipMail is a multilingual application. The non-English ZipMail translations are product parameters. ZipMail is delivered with the support of English (built-in), French, German and Spanish languages. Additional languages can be added. Even the English translations can be provided as parameters in case some customers would like to replace some English captions.
• All ZipMail features are UNICODE compatible. ZipMail fully supports all languages including Japanese, Chinese etc.
